MELT With Vanessa Workshops
The MELT Method is a self care technique that focuses on the body’s connective tissue. Connective tissue is a fluid filled system that supports muscles, joints, nerves and organs. It becomes dehydrated from overuse, stress, and injury. The MELT Method uses small balls on our hands and feet and specialized soft body rollers to re-hydrate connective tissue for a full body effect. MELT can reduce or eliminate muscle and joint pain, arthritis pain, headaches, and much more! Practicing MELT as a supplement to exercise, hydration, and healthy eating has made me feel more balanced and pain free. MELT continues to inspire me and change how my body feels every day!
This 2-hour workshop is for the prenatal and postpartum Mom. Participants will learn gentle self-massage, alignment techniques and simple corrective exercises to address common aches and pains such as: back, hip, foot, and wrist pain. Modifications will be given during the workshop, but participants should be healthy enough for activity. Included with registration is a small, soft massage ball and handouts so you can continue on your own. Other tools (soft rollers and balls) will be supplied and also available for purchase. A yoga mat and water is recommended. Pre-crawling babies are welcome!
